Should Professional Athletes and Musical Artists Considered Role Models? – Latoya Massie

With this question it’s a 50/50. So children have chosen to look up to the wrong athletes and music artists to be their role models. They all inspire you to have big dreams but the message still gets misunderstood along the way. Through their music and sportsmanship sometimes the actions of the person are sometimes negative.

Latoya Massie’s Idea on Automatic Citizenship to Children Born to Illegal Immigrants

Based on the 14th amendment and the saying on the American Dream the supreme court and other members of the Government contradict themselves. This isn’t fair because they always so one thing and always mean another. America comes across to other places as superior even in our history books. Is America really all that? The only thing I believe is that out of all the other continents, North America does have better educational opportunities. So they wonder why immigrants come to America. They want a better education to further progress onto a better job. But the economy still has its lack of jobs. This isn’t right the constitution always gives us right but they always some how and some way always deny us of those rights.

Should Professional Athletes and Musical Artists Considered Role Models? – Albert Brunn Jr.

I do not think that all professional athletes or musicians should be role models. I feel that many athletes and musicians are positive. However, there are also some that act very negatively. Many of the negative ones talk about drugs, guns, and going to jail like it’s cool. I can’t imagine anything enjoyable about being high, getting shot or being incarcerated. Unfortunately, our youth seems to like these celebrities most. We need to expose our youth to the positive athletes and musicians. However, It’s not only our youth that needs to listen to and take in positive things. Some adults give negative and false information to the youth, and the youth passes it on. Maybe we should stop looking to celebrities as our only role models. Entertainment and athletics pays well, but teachers, firemen, policemen, doctors and members of the military perform jobs that matter more. They earn a small fraction of what entertainers and athletes are compensated, but their jobs are more important to society.

What Other African Country Would Dasia Carr Like to Visit?

Now that I have traveled to South Africa I’d like to go to Nigeria. The reason for this is because of my genealogy results. The tribes that my ancestors are from are in Nigeria.

What Other African Country Would Latoya Massie Like to Visit?

I would LOVE to visit Sierra Leone to learn about the Mende people and Liberia to also learn about the Kru people. Because of the fact September 17, 2009 I
received a certificate of my African Ancestry Results and that’s were my DNA
been traced back to.

This Year Bad Winter Season by Latoya Massie

I honestly think global warming is not to blame for the bad weather we had because if you think logically Global warming would be where the snow melts and not when its being produced. The Scientific Definition says that Global warming is, “An increase in the average temperature of the Earth’s atmosphere,
especially a sustained increase great enough to cause changes in the global climate.  The Earth has experienced numerous episodes of global warming through its history, and currently appears to be undergoing such warming. The present warming is generally attributed to an increase in the greenhouse effect,
brought about by increased levels of greenhouse gases, largely due to the
effects of human industry and agriculture. Expected long-term effects of
current global warming are rising sea levels, flooding, melting of polar ice
caps and glaciers, fluctuations in temperature and precipitation, more frequent
and stronger El Niños and La Niñas, drought, heat waves, and forest fires. See
more at greenhouse effect.” So technically it would be a drought, snow or
rain wouldn’t fall, and we would have dry weather.

Also, what do you personally do to help keep the planet clean and green? To keep the planet clean and green i don’t littler and throw my trash in the can that it belongs to. What would you like to do more of and why? I would like to inform people on what global warming really is because they actually same totally wrong when they blame the weather on global warming not even understanding maybe mother nature wanted it to snow in the middle of February. Also don’t blame the globe for your faults blame yourselves for not cleaning properly, producing unnatural gases, and polluting the air that you and your family take in.

Imaan Williams’ Thoughts About Cathy Black, The Ex-NYC’s School Chancellor.

I think that appointing someone with no experience in the school system as school chancellor is a very dumb decision. That is like putting a new born baby in first grade after a month of being in this earth. As a student in private school, I believe that public schools should enhance their security systems. A lot of violence has taken place in NYC public schools (as well as private schools). To make the schools better things in education and security should step up.
