Given the Recent Situation in Egypt, How Does Jasmine Brown Feel About Living in a Democracy?

I believe it’s important for people to live in a democracy just for the simple fact that your opinion counts. In a democracy, the people of a state have to go through a long process in order to make one decision. Most of the time in a democratic nation we spend time electing, voting, debating, compromising, in order to have a possible solution. In a Dictatorship, the leader makes a decision and that’s final. What would take us a year in a democracy would take them months or even weeks in a dictatorship. They don’t sit and think how it would help the people or ask the people what they want. They just say and people do it.
