Should Professional Athletes and Musical Artists Considered Role Models? – Dara Hutchinson

I think professional athletes and musical artists should be role models to kids! Why because athletes inspire kids to play sports every day and eat healthy. Musical artists help kids like myself learn about the world music and to be better in school with math and reading, because you have to read the notes and count the beat.

To me a musical artist gets me more because I play steel pan at church/after-school. It helps me better in life if I’m mad or sad or just too happy playing it will calm me down from anything.

Should Professional Athletes and Musical Artists Considered Role Models? – Dorian Anderson

I think professional athletes and musical artist could be considered role models. I agree because professional athletes inspire youth to stay fit healthy, and musical artists inspire children to widen theirs minds and enlighten them to express their emotions.

Dorian Anderson’s Idea on Automatic Citizenship to Children Born to Illegal Immigrants

I believe that the lawmaker’s are unconstitutional people. But I understand why they would change the law but if it’s in the constitution, its understanding to most and fair to others. I believe that it’s fair but unfair at the same time. I believe that it’s fair because many of the illegal immigrants have children and should be able to stay in America, and this is beginning to over populating America which provides an edge to change the idea of the constitution. But it’s unfair because many illegal immigrants get deported because they are undocumented workers. Some times the illegal immigrants deported have to leave their child in America in a foster home full of other children whose parent were deported. Over all I believe that it is not fair to change the law of the 14 Amendment. Also I think that it is easier to just get registered to be a citizen of America instead of having an unwanted child in order to stay in America.

Should Professional Athletes and Musical Artists Considered Role Models? – Alysia Roberts

I think professional athletes and musical artists could be considered as role models because most of them are people who have actually gone through
what a lot of children are going through or have gone through. Although some
athletes and musicians should not be executed as a role model for reasons that
they do drugs, didn’t finish school, or encourage kids to do careless things. A
good role model should tell kids to start and finish school and donate to
charities. In my personal opinion some of my personal role models when I was younger were Beyonce, Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Venus and Serena Williams. There can be a lot of different types of role models for different people, if someone looks forward to joining the NBA they can look up to someone like Kevin Garnett or Michael Jordan. I believe that kids should look up to older musicians and athletes because a collection of artists and athletes today are foolish and don’t know what they’re doing.

Should Professional Athletes and Musical Artists Considered Role Models? – Myah Lynch

I think that some professional athletes and some musical artists should be considered role models although some of them are doing all the wrong things. It all depends on the athlete or the artist because some are better than others and some aren’t good role models at all. Therefore some athletes and artist should be considered role models and some should not be considered role models.

Myah Lynch’s Idea on Automatic Citizenship to Children Born to Illegal Immigrants

My opinion is that children who were born here in the United States to illegal immigrants should be United States citizens because they were born in the U.S. and its not like they came over here with their parents. I really don’t think that is fair because the 14Th Amendment says that anyone born in the U.S. is a citizen. They would be going against The 14Th Amendment if they past that law.

Should Professional Athletes and Musical Artists Considered Role Models? – Nia Bey

Well I think professional athletes and musical arstist should and shouldn’t be considered as role models. They should because they worked hard to be where they are at now. That shows the children who looks up to them that you can do anything if you jus work hard. Another reason why they should is because they still go on even with all the bad things that are said about them. They work even harder to prove those people wrong. The reason that they shouldn’t is because some of the careless things they do. For an example some music artist rap about things like drugs and children listen to these things and thinks their suppose to sell drugs. So sometimes professional music artists and athletes shouldn’t be considered as role models.

Should Professional Athletes and Musical Artists Considered Role Models? – Kaela Jones

I do think that professionals athletes and musical artists should be considered role models because of what they do. For an example Kobe Bryant is a famous basketball player. Kobe Bryant is a phylantropist and run a charity called The Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation for young people. The Kobe Bryant China Fund will partner with the Soong Ching Ling Foundation to raise money within China for education and health programs. Bryant’s existing fund, the Kobe Bryant Family Foundation, will also educate school students in the U.S. about Chinese language and culture. It will pay the salaries of four teachers to teach Mandarin and Chinese culture to middle-school students. Kobe Bryant can be considered a role model because of the good things he is doing. For an example Kobe Bryant is building a school in China and Kobe Bryant seems to enjoy the Chinese kids. He enjoys making them happy. Kobe Bryant is an extraordinary role model. So therefore professionals and musical artists should be considered role models. I think musical artists should be considered role models because musical artists such as Nicki Minaj and Drake music is constantly played on the radio. Kids are going to look up to people music they they hear on the radio. For an example I hear a lot of girls saying they want to be like Nicki Minaj because she is so successful in what she is doing in the music business. And a lot of boys want to be like Drake because he is a good rapper.
So therefore musical artists and professionals athletes can be considered as
role models.

Should Professional Athletes and Musical Artists Considered Role Models? – Shari Clark

I think proffessional athletes and musical artists should be considered role models becacause they provide hope to people. They are in the public eye which makes them role models automatically. The artists who are sucessful can motivate young minds to study hard, go to college, and stay off drugs. For some children they see their athletic abilty as the gateway to a better life. Also, many of them do not have much of anything if it wasn’t for their athletic gifts and talents.

Kaela Jones’ Idea on Automatic Citizenship to Children Born to Illegal Immigrants

The United States Constitution is the supreme law of the United States of America. The Constitution is the framework for the organization of the United States government and for the relationship of the federal government with the states, citizens, and all people within the United States. The government wants to stop granting automatic citizenship to children born in the United States to
illegal immigrants, even though the 14th Amendment to the United States
Constitution clearly states that all people born in the United States are
citizens. The law states that if you are born in the Unites States you should automatically have citizenship. I think that American born children should have automatic citizenship. If the government is not following the constitution, the people living in the United States are going to think they don’t have to follow the laws either. I don’t think its fair because if the government are not following rules we are not going to follow rules either.
