I think that lawmakers are making up ridiculous laws just to get publicity. If
the U.S Constitution says that anyone born in the U.S is a U.S citizen then
that is what it is. I don’t think this is fair because a child whose parents
are immigrants should have nothing to do with the child’s citizenship status. Lawmakers are just making things harder for themselves and for America. Why are these lawyers trying to make it so hard for the immigrants who work so hard to start a new life in America? In the end the lawmakers are going to have to deal with the consequences whether they are good or bad. People are going to be complaining to them about their selfish and dumb actions especially the people of America that this bill pertains to. If you were born in America, you are American. The parents of that child may teach their child the ways of their original country but in America everybody is supposed to have the freedom of practicing their own religion. In my opinion, lawmakers are not thinking hard enough about what they are saying and are making fools out of themselves.
