There are a lot of problems in the world I could combat today with one million dollars. However, I would use the money to help the prevention of teenage pregnancy in my community.
I would use the money to create a state-of-the-art facility for young women who are not involved in Afterschool activities. In this setting there would be an abundance of activities, anything from games, sports, girl talk, and homework help. It is also imperative to boost young girls’ self esteem, so they always know their self worth. Along with that, comes education; I would have College preparatory classes and colleges tours to empower all teenage girls and for them to know that they can succeed in life. There would be daily discussions about how to prevent yourself from becoming a teenage mother. In the end, I hope to empower young women with education and eventually reduce the percentage of teenage pregnancy in my community.
