What Social Problem Would Alysia Roberts Try to Solve If She Had $1 Million?

There are a lot of problems in the world I could combat today with one million dollars. However, I would use the money to help the prevention of teenage pregnancy in my community.

I would use the money to create a state-of-the-art facility for young women who are not involved in Afterschool activities. In this setting there would be an abundance of activities, anything from games, sports, girl talk, and homework help. It is also imperative to boost young girls’ self esteem, so they always know their self worth. Along with that, comes education; I would have College preparatory classes and colleges tours to empower all teenage girls and for them to know that they can succeed in life. There would be daily discussions about how to prevent yourself from becoming a teenage mother. In the end, I hope to empower young women with education and eventually reduce the percentage of teenage pregnancy in my community.

What Would Nia Bey Say to President Obama If She Could Speak With Him?

If I had 15 minutes to chat with President Obama It would be about the war in Iraq. I would pick that subject because I just think right now the war is unnecessary.  We are not making any progress. A lot of us don’t care and don’t want to hear anymore about the war.   I think we would be better off if we were to focus on issues here at home. For an example, the president should reopen and build more schools and hospitals. He should focus on issues facing our communities such as the lack of jobs and opportunities.

What Social Problem Would Dara Hutchinson Try to Solve If She Had $1 Million?

If I was given $1 million to combat any problem in the world it would be to teach people to “Go-Green” and to be healthy. Half of the money would go toward educating them on how to be environmentally friendly. For example, I would show them how to keep public parks and beaches clean and how to maintain them.  The final outcome would be a clean environment with fewer diseases.

What Social Problem Would Tyler Williams Try to Solve If He Had $1 Millions?

If  I  was  given  1  million  dollars  to  combat  any  world  problem, I   would  use it to deal with two major issues in the world today.  They are diseases and education.   Although money is consistently being poured into these problems, they still exist. With  1  million  dollars  I  would  make  sure  it  is  put  into  the  heart  of  these  problems  to  make  sure  we  get  rid  of  them.

Diseases  such  as  HIV/AIDS and  tuberculosis  have  been  around  for  a  long   time, taking  away  millions  of  lives. We have been trying  to find cures  for  these  diseases ever since the first outbreaks.  If  I  could  dedicate  a  third  of  the money  to  HIV/AIDS research  I’m  sure  that  in  under  a  year  we  will  have  a  cure  or  be  really  close  to  one.

Providing  the  best  education  for  students  is  a  serious  problem.  Teachers  are losing their jobs while students  keep flunking  school. As  the  problems  add  up,   so  do  the  amount  of  students  not  getting  their  an education.  Education should  not  be  messed  with. The  money  we  would  put  in  to  combat  this  problem  could  give  teachers   back  their  jobs,  buy  more  books  for  students. With half of the money going to education I think we would solve this problem.
