HIV/AIDS Awareness – Jenee’s Perspective

HIV/AIDS is a very serious issue; this is why people should be aware. It is important to raise awareness about the disease among our community members because it mostly affects African Americans. Most adults are afraid to get tested because they’re scared of the outcome but it’s better to know than not to know and spread it on to others. Also teens need to be careful and stay abstinent until they reach an appropriate age. Personally, I think I can make a difference by talking to teens about abstinence and spread the word of “getting tested”.
