Why So Many Americans Are Suffering Economically Today – Keara’s Opinion

I think the reason why so many people in America are suffering economically is because people don’t spend their money accordingly and also because prices are pretty high for certain things. A lot of people spend their money on expensive things that sometimes they really don’t need. Others spend their money on items that are necessary but is simply just too much money. I think the government should work on reasonable prices on items. If prices went down more people would be able to afford things and there would be many more purchases. The economy has slowly gotten better but it’s still an area that needs work. If the government makes decent prices in stores I think it will be able to help end the suffering of people. Hopefully it will also increase the amount of purchases being made around the country with new affordable prices.

Why So Many Americans Are Suffering Economically Today – Dara’s Opinion

I think the reason why so many people are suffering economically is because of poor spending, poor business, and the loss of jobs. What I think our government should do is to make things a little fair for people so at least everyone can get a good paying job. Also make sure and focus on the people who need help to get back on their feet. They have a lot of bills to pay and the price for everything is high. If the government does this everything will work out fine in years to come.

Why So Many Americans Are Suffering Economically Today – Dijore’s Opinion

So many people in our country are suffering because the economy is bad.  Others because they spend their money on things they don’t need. People should think about their needs rather than their wants mostly because a lot of people are out of work and cannot pay their bills or feed their children.

The government needs to help by lowering taxes, the cost for transportation, prices on food, electric bills, healthcare and especially rent, at least until the economy improves. The government can also start new programs to help people. Like, give stores money to lower their prices on merchandise.

Why So Many Americans Are Suffering Economically Today – Chanell’s Opinion

Honestly, I think so many people in our country are suffering economically because they are not making enough money at their jobs. Also, it seems like the government is not printing enough money. I think the government should print and make more money available for the country. When I was in Washington D.C last month, I visited the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. This is the money factory; and it seemed to me they were making a WHOLE Lot of money. All I’m saying is the government need to make even more money so we won’t be in such a recession.

Why So Many Americans Are Suffering Economically Today – Emani’s Opinion

People are suffering economically and no one has done little about that. Since the recession has occurred everyone’s been suffering. Many people are suffering because it’s hard to find jobs that are suitable. Businesses are waiting for the government to lower and to raise taxes. They want better reasons for hiring people without experience. Taxes are getting higher on the poor and lower for the rich. The poor is paying a lot of many that leaves them suffering because of taxes. Credit cards are another reason for people suffering. Banks are handing out credit cards like nothing. When people are these cards they go overboard, and shop like they’re paying their selves. When the people that really need can’t receive one or don’t have one. The credit card is supposed to be used when you have no money to pay for your needs and debts.

Why So Many Americans Are Suffering Economically Today – Jasmine’s Opinion

Dear Journey For Change Followers,

America is one of the richest nations in the world. America is rich because we are involved in a lot of trades. Most of the things we have here are made in a different country. Although America is rich the people are suffering. A reason they are suffering is because of taxes. Taxes are constantly going up. If taxes keep going up it’s going to make life harder for families in the middle and lower classes to afford the necessities. People still buy these expensive things although it may not fit in their budget. If you are a single parent you struggle even more, and you end up making sacrifices to support your family. I think the government should think about the consequences that may occur every time the taxes are raise and pulled out of checks. If they do this families of middle and lower class could afford the things they need without making sacrifices.

Young People’s Role Model – Jasmine’s Idea

Dear Journey for Change,

I believe a good role model is Alicia Keys. Alicia grew up in a single parent household. Growing up her mother placed her in music and dance classes. When she was 12 she enrolled into professional performing arts school. At the age of 14 she started to write her own music. She graduated in three years as valedictorian at the age of 16. She then attend Columbia University but after 3 weeks dropped out too pursue her dream. She is now an 11-time Grammy Award winning Actress including 88 other awards she has received. She is also the co-founder and Global Ambassador of “Keep A child Alive”, a non-profit organization that provides medicines to families with HIV /AIDS in Africa. She has visited numerous African countries such as Uganda, Kenya, and South Africa to promote care for children affected by AIDS. Keys has also donated to “From The Ground Up”, a non-profit organization that aids children and teenagers scholarships.

Kids today grow up in a one parent household, and most kids don’t think much about what their futures hold for them. If you keep at what you think and believe you are good at you can make it. You can make a difference in the world just by doing what you are good at. You may even be a founder of a great organization that can make our world a better place.
