My trip to Washington D.C. was exciting from day 1.When we first got to The Salvation Army Bushwick in Brooklyn, NY I was tired and cold. When we got to DC, I was excited and we got to eat lunch at Capitol Hill. After lunch we met Congresswoman Yvette Clarke. After she spoke to us we went to meet Congressman Elijah Cummings. After that we went to the hotel to have dinner and then after that we went to our rooms. The next day we went for a tour of the Capitol Building. After we had that tour we had a tour of the White House. In the White House we saw the red room, the green room and the blue room. After the three rooms we saw the State Dining Room. After the White House tour we went to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing. There we saw how money is made and printed. Today we went on a tour of Georgetown University.
